Chapter 1
For those of you who don't know me, I am Jordan Lynnae or Jay Jay for short. I am a mother of three, a wife of almost 7 years to Aaron, a daughter, a sister, a friend, and an aunt x8. My kids are Alex (15), Elizabeth (13), and McKenzie (3). I work a full-time job where the hours can vary from 40 hour work weeks to unlimited hours per workweek. My everyday life has always been busy. Wake up, get myself and three other people together, drop everyone off at different locations, and go to work. Head home from work, do any homework that is left, bathe and feed everyone, and put them all to sleep. I'm used to seeing the kids for an hour before dropping them off at school, an hour before bed, and only getting an hour to myself after Aaron falls asleep.
Like many across the world, for the first couple months of #quarentine2020, we were stuck in the house without anything really to do. I am not sure what I did with all of my free time outside of work and hanging out with the kids before, but Corona has taught me that I had too much free time to not be doing some productive with it. And, with no end to COVID-19 near, we decided to find a way to be productive with our free time together. We knew we wanted to open our own business. It just seemed natural to sell some of the items we use when we spend time together doing things we love! All of us love to camp, travel, have a beach/lake day, etc. We currently own or have owned most of the items that we have for sale right now.
I believe that all 5 of us would agree that our top 2 favorite places to travel to are the Appalachian Mountains and northern Michigan. Our family is scattered all over the country but we are all southeastern Michigan born and raised. I never traveled much throughout my life until I met my husband, Aaron. 3 years ago, we bought our own little slice of heaven "Up North" so all of our recent traveling's have been to "The Property". But, we love it and wouldn't change it for the world. No complaints here! We haven't started planning this year's trips yet but we should do that soon. It will be nice when Corona is more under control and we can all get back into the swing of things that we call everyday life.
